Sarah L. Anderson is passionate about improving access to quality urban nature. Currently, Sarah works with the US Forest Service as the Project Lead on the Environmental Justice Initiative of the Chesapeake Bay Tree Canopy Strategy. She also works with City Parks Alliance as their Greater & Greener 2017 Conference Program Manager, planning the organization's upcoming bi-annual international urban parks conference.
Sarah serves on the membership committee at the Audubon Naturalist Society and a volunteer with ReTREET, a national disaster-recovery tree planting organization. She has her Masters in Public Administration from Bowie State University and a dual degree in Urban and Environmental Studies with a certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh.
