Steven Schoeffler is the founder and developer of eRideShare.com, the leading carpool website, which is widely used by commuters, cross-country travelers, and private groups, and appears in more than 66 books. He takes an interest in encouraging the wider adoption of carpooling with more effective communications technologies, and also by increasing gasoline taxes. He is also the owner of Nikkin Flux Corp., which specializes in selling chemicals used by foundries for processing molten aluminum, and has experience complying with hazardous materials regulations.
Schoeffler is the author of an unpublished novel warning of the coming age of silicon-based beings of superior intelligence. He lived in Japan for 3 1/2 years, and has some fluency in Japanese, Romanian, and French. He holds a degree in psychology from Princeton University, and an MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
