Tanya Hedgepeth is interested in travel, volunteerism, and networking. She is originally from Buffalo, New York and is a professional Urban Planner with a Master’s Degree and Specialization in Urban Management from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. She also holds a Certification in Land Development/Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Urban Studies from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
Ms. Hedgepeth currently works as a Construction Outreach Coordinator for the DC Water and Sewer Authority. Prior to working at DC Water, she was employed as a Project Manager for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC). Tanya relocated the DC Metro area from the Atlanta area, where she worked as an Urban Planner in the public (State and Local government) and private sectors.
Tanya’s professional affiliations include the American Planning Association, Women in Land Development and the National Association of Professional Women.
